As we being an brand-new calendar year, as usual we have to deal with this arctic weather as winter storms in much of the world. I was thinking if I want to do an poet if someone do go outside and walk to go to work or shopping or even school in the winter, be warn and be safe.
When it's cold on an wintry day.
It feels like an below freezing out there.
Nothing we can do about it.
The winds are blowing and it's blowing harder than ever.
Easy as you can say, hope it doesn't last longer.
Ready to walk in the winter.
In life, you can say everything that relates to history. In mind, you can write everything that relates to poetry. Poems In Person in your place to see the best poems in person.

All Good Things
By Josh Albarran - June 24, 2015
Into the darkness, there's a final chapter in a book.
Forget someone that you love.
Everything must come to a end.
Spending time with your friends and your family.
Personally, good things will be remember.
Occasionally, it's logical to be expected with.
Communication is the key of life to stay in touch.
Kindness brings up happy every day.
There are good moments, bad moments.
From the Big Bang in the past.
To a possibly World War III in the future.
All good things, must come to an end.

The Thanksgiving Poem
By Josh Albarran
In the spirit of a holiday, a one true gift that we care.
One special gift that we are thankful every year.
Everyone around the world has a family to thank with.
Son, daughter, mother, father, grandma, grandpa, aunt and cousin.
Whenever it's the parade, football, movies or shopping.
We are thankful to enjoy this very special holiday.
Cook the turkey, slice the pie, score a touchdown.
Or watch the ballons up in the deep blue sky.
We the people are thankful to have Thanksgiving.
Happy Holidays and enjoy the winter season.

Ode To Bugs Bunny
By Josh Albarran
The last of the three summer poems are based upon my artistic work made for a poetry book back in the spring of 2012, personally I'll like to thank Melanie Maria Goodreaux and Lauren Murphy for all of their contribution. Note some or most are re-edited from the original poem.
Oh Bugs Bunny, my favorite cartoon character.
My screwy rabbit.
Your ears are taller than the World Trade Center
and your eyes are so buggy you can explode.
Your beautiful ears gots more lots than the Warner Bros. lot.
How much do I love that screwy rabbit?
More than I love watching you every morning at 6 AM.
I remember you had wacky adventures with Daffy and Elmer.
A million rabbits could never hop faster than my love for you.
I love you more than Mickey Mouse or Walt Disney.
My screwy rabbit.
Oh Bugs Bunny, my favorite cartoon character.

Moves like a brave lion.
Young as I change the future.
Sees the real side of me.
Older than a 86-year old man.
Understands the true meaning of life.
Loves like a real artist.
Is like something stuck into your vision.
Sounds like a happy ending to a fairy tale.

Thunderstorms make noise.
It scares you living heck out of you.
They combing lighting and sound.
Does it make you noise?
Mostly, you should or don't care.
Nervous about Thunder?
Little bit, but not much.
It's not like God would light the thunder into you.
Cause if, you will get electrocuted.
Thunderstorms make noise.
Combing lighting and sound.

Tragedy on Titanic
By Joshua Albarran
On April 10, 1912, the R.M.S. Titanic was sailing from Southampton England to New York City on their voyage to America where people would start their journeys over there. But there's a tragedy on the ship five days later where the Titanic suddenly collapsed in the northern Atlantic Ocean, more than 1517 of 2223 passages on-board the Titanic were killed. So 102 years later, I dedicated this poem to these lost love ones.
A huge ship named the Titanic.
Long trip in the sea, the road to freedom.
From Independent to America.
Journey started with cheers
But ended their journey in a tragic.
Collapsed by itself on the ice.
Forgot to mention two lovers on the ship.
One final goodbye where she sinks off.
Made this a tragedy on the Titanic.

The Beauty and the Beast
By Josh Albarran
On Valentine's Day, we seen love everywhere, hugging and kissing makes us getting into love. But the most love poem I came out with is from a fairy tale of a Prince-turned beast in the far away castle in France falls in love with the beautiful Belle in La Belle et la Bete, in English also know as the Beauty and the Beast.
There's a beautiful woman desperate to be marry.
and a selfish prince turn into a monstrous beast.
A spell rose on his dark castle, the only thing to break it.
When she first look at him, they look at to their eyes.
First untrusted, then friendly.
The Beauty and the Beast were in love.
But when Belle leaves for her family.
The Beast was health-less to death.
Once the last rose falls, one kiss can make the difference.
The darkness turn into brightness and the spell was broken.
Who could ever love a beast where tale as old as time.
They dance together and live happily ever after.

Christmas is about a time of joy and giving.
For everyone at home, it's about the one true meaning.
Was it about the presents or money or even food? No!
It means you spend Christmas with your friends and family.
Christmas is about a time of joy and giving.
Everyone loves the jolly-old Santa Claus.
He comes in on eve, checking his list, checking it twice.
It's a miracle of having a wonderful life.
Christmas is about a time of joy and giving.
A day where everyone cares and love.
Promise want you want and what you get for the holidays.
So take this moment to celebrated the magic of Christmas.

The Assassin Who Shot JFK
By Joshua Albarran
From Friday, November 22, 1963 when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas to Friday, November 22, 2013 when we will commemorate that very day 50 years ago where it all started this conspiracy and changed the landscape of the United States of America forever.
There's an assassin named Lee Oswald.
Used a rifle to take the life of President Kennedy.
Three shots on a motorcade changes everything.
Americans were scared and sadden.
There's an assassin named Lee Oswald.
Millions on TV watched his rifle gun in Dallas.
But listeners heard there was a conspiracy.
People knew that JFK won't survive from a bullet.
There's an assassin named Lee Oswald.
The president had been shot and he's dead.
Not long after, the assassin was assassinated.
Many people still question to this day.

The Halloween Poem
![]() |
| This is the true meaning of Halloween. |
Every year, there's a spooky holiday on the 31st of October know as Halloween, its a celebration of dead, horror, those sweets candies and awesome costumes. If you are getting scared, then run out from this computer, but if you want the true story of Halloween, how about you read this poem and find it yourself. Boo!
Let me tell you a story on what Halloween's all about.
On the day where things are about to get spooky.
Kids wears costumes and say trick-or-treat to eat candy.
All the sweet treats make you hunger on your brains.
Zombies and Undertakers will come gravy from the dead.
Dracula will bite your ear just like Mike Tyson.
President Lincoln uses a wood-chop to kill vampires.
The Wicked Witch rides her broom to find your shoe.
Ghosts and spirits will hunted you scare inside the mansion.
The Bat becomes a man and the joke is on The Joker.
The Great Pumpkin rises up and wants to eat your children.
Look out Sandy, storms and gusty winds turn into Frankenstorm.
Don't believe aliens exists, well think again.
It's like the Nightmare Before Christmas, but more darker.
Halloween is about and always a celebration of horror and death.
But more than all, it's about costumes and candies.

A Day In School
By Josh Albarran
Every year in the fall, young people (preschoolers, teenagers and college kids) went back to the place that we love to learn for our future. To all schools across the nation and around the world, this is a poem where everyone spent a day in school.
It's rise and shine on this weekday morning.
Kids gearing up, eating their breakfast and go out to school.
The place that we love to learn.
Everyone went to their favorite classes.
Giving your teacher an apple or something to give and return.
Doing classwork and just having fun with your friends.
When you're in the class, you must follow the teacher's lesson.
Kids come here to get education between now and the future.
Show your work and earn some credit to yourself.
We learn to have success, not failure.
Respect to everyone in school that we trust.
Everyone love to gave fun in school to enjoy.

The Road to Kick-off
By Joshua Albarran - September 4, 2013
In the spirit of the 2013 NFL season on Thursday, Sept. 5 as the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens face the Denver Broncos. So with that, I dedicated this poem to all football fans around the world who had waited for months to see the game they loved.
When a Super Bowl champion is crowded.
The football season conduces and the fans are waited for a new football season.
The game in which football fans loved went silent.
And they were asked "We Want Football!"
For seven-long months, there was no football.
By that time, new players were selected in the draft lottery.
Some of great names in football were either retired by off-season or returned for a new season.
And the fans were asked "We Want Football!"
Training camps were open, fantasy drafts were opened.
Season tickets were opened for all 32 teams.
And the fans were asked "We Want Football!"
Players come out to the field, coaches were making plays.
With all the fun, drama and action to the game.
And with all football fans enjoying the game it watching from stadiums to television sets.
The fans were asked "We Got Football."

The Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge
By Josh Albarran
From Manhattan to Brooklyn
It's New York City's largest suspension bridge.
The one and only
The Brooklyn Bridge.
Walking across one borough to another.
And with the subway rides thorough the East River.
No why they called
The Brooklyn Bridge.
The longer we go, the faster we run.
You can hear Frank Sinatra signing
The Brooklyn Bridge.
From Manhattan to Brooklyn
From Times Square to the Barclays Center
It's the one and only
The Brooklyn Bridge.

New York City
New York City
By Josh S. Albarran
New York City, the city that never sleeps.
Every day and night, there are noise, loud noise.
Whatever we having fun, crying in tragedy or someone is on crime.
Home to America's largest skyscraper, the Empire State Building.
Home to the 27th World Champion New York Yankees.
And home to the best New York City subway transportation.
There are places we can go and famous people who had experience New York City before.
Like seeing the late great Babe Ruth hit an home run at the original Yankee Stadium.
Or seeing the cast of Saturday Night Live taping their shows at the legendary NBC studios in 30 Rock.
Or watching WrestleMania at an sold-out crown Madison Square Garden.
New York City is indeed America's largest city.
It is the heartland for every American who wants to go there.
When immigrants moved to America, their journey starts here in New York.
The State of Liberty is what starts in New York City.
New York City is America's home, our home to have memories of our lifetime.
And that's how we the people are New Yorkers.

Lincoln's Hat
Lincoln's Hat
By Josh S. Albarran

Abraham Lincoln wears a top hat to his personally.
It made him the tallest president in America history.
Lincoln's hat kept his political notes under it.
It also include letters, contracts and even his checkbook.
Some of these notes that he would be addressing it to the nation.
Lincoln's hat was his life when he served as president.
And when he was assassinated in a play, his hat was covered in blood.
It was not just a hat, it was a friend to Lincoln and the American people.
